About the job

We are re-advertising the position and hope to hear from you, who are motivated to make a difference for children with autism. With us you become part of a strong special pedagogical community where collaboration, professional reflection and room for development are a natural part of everyday life.

If you want a meaningful job in an engaged team, we look forward to receiving your application.

About the position

We are seeking a pedagogue for our group arrangement, which offers teaching and leisure-time activities to 90 children with an autism diagnosis and related diagnoses such as ADHD, anxiety and OCD. We offer a professionally exciting and developing work environment with a strong collegial community, where cooperation and learning are highly valued.

Grønnemose School’s Group Arrangement

Our group arrangement is aimed at normally gifted children from 0th to 9th grade. In each class there are 4-10 students. Pedagogues and teachers work closely together to create safe, structured and inspiring school days for the children. In addition, the pedagogues also work in our own after-school care (SFO) and club, which provides the opportunity to create coherent and secure everyday lives for the children.

Our pedagogical approach

The children in the group arrangement need adults who meet them with patience and understanding of their special needs and challenges. We deliberately work with a conflict- and stress-reducing pedagogical approach, where we are with the children in an acknowledging, calm and solution-oriented way

Participation opportunities for all

Pedagogues in the group arrangement contribute to the whole children's school day, both in working on the children's academic, social and emotional development. We are focused on ensuring each individual child participation opportunities in meaningful communities. We therefore work purposefully to develop the children's prerequisites for engaging in interaction and communication, and actively support the children in being in relationships and activities with other children.

What we offer

  • A workplace where well-being and learning are in focus for both children and staff.
  • A workplace with high professionalism and a special pedagogical focus, where structure and visual support systems are important tools.
  • A strong collegial community with the possibility of close sparring with both internal and external partners.
  • A professionally curious environment, characterized by collaboration, shared reflection and a common ambition to give the children the best conditions for well-being, learning and development.
  • A daily life where you can both use your professional skills and your creative ideas.

What we are looking for

We are looking for a pedagogue who…

  • Is a trained pedagogue with experience in the autism field or with knowledge and interest in special pedagogy.
  • Has a focus on children's well-being, learning and development – and can balance between fixed frameworks and flexibility in everyday life.
  • Meets the children with patience, recognition and curiosity – also when they react unexpectedly or need extra support.
  • Thrives in close collaboration with colleagues, parents and other professionals and sees the strength in working across disciplines.
  • Contributes to documentation and reflection – e.g., through status reports and participation in meetings and supervision.
  • Is robust and energetic and has a calm temperament.
  • Is a positive contributor to the job satisfaction at the school

Are you ready to make a difference?

We look forward to hearing how you can contribute to creating a meaningful everyday life for our children in the group arrangement.

The application must be sent no later than Sunday, October 18, 2026 at 12:00.

We will conduct interviews on Thursday, October 22 in the afternoon.

Start date as soon as possible, but we are happy to wait for the right applicants.
