The Dementia Centre Stevnshøj in Store Heddinge on Stevns is looking for someone who would like to become part of our team as a hourly paid substitute. We need you who want to take on a lot of lovely shifts and be part of creating a safe and meaningful daily life for our residents.

Who are we?

At Dementia Centre Stevnshøj we have 12 apartments spread over two houses with six residents in each house. We are a small dementia centre where presence, safety and good relationships are an important part of everyday life.

We work to create a home where each resident is met with respect, care and understanding for the person he or she is. For us, good care is not only about nursing, but also about the small moments, the presence, the laughter and the good times that give everyday life value.

We place great emphasis on our work environment and camaraderie. We must be able to support each other professionally, collaborate across teams, and at the same time have room for smiles, humor and a good laugh in everyday life. We believe we succeed best when we lift together and help one another.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who wants to make a difference for people with dementia. You do not necessarily need to have experience in the dementia field. The most important thing is that you meet our residents with care, patience and respect, and that you are keen to learn.

• Have a good mood and can keep overview when the day does not go exactly as planned.
• Contribute to a good and healthy working environment where we help and support each other.
• Are reliable, punctual and flexible.
• Want to collaborate with your colleagues and contribute to a daily life with high professionalism and care.
• Have an interest in people with dementia and wish to contribute to creating quality of life for the individual.

Experience is an advantage but not a requirement. We will of course ensure a good and thorough onboarding so you feel secure in the tasks. If you have the desire to learn and the courage to try something new, we will help you along the way.
