Home Care Training Section is seeking a SOSU helper or SOSU assistant for day shift as of January 1, 2027 or as soon as possible.

About the Home Care Training Section

We are a section that receives all new citizens in Svendborg Municipality who need home care. In close collaboration between the citizen, relatives and staff, a targeted, rehabilitative effort is planned and carried out over 12 weeks.

In the close collaboration around the citizen, rehabilitation therapists, nurses and the visitation team are also involved.

The individual citizen is supported and guided to maintain or regain their functions, so that the citizen is able to manage as independently as possible in their own home. More than half of the citizens become self-sufficient again, and citizens who still need home care transfer to the home care sections, so the transitional work and collaboration are central.

The Home Care Training Section is located at Aldersro Nursing Home and is part of Home Care East, which also consists of four other home care sections, a nursing section and a district office. Home Care Training is a well-functioning section with about 22 professionally skilled and engaged social and health care assistants, social and health care assistants, as well as regular substitutes and students who work day shifts all days of the week.

Salary and employment terms

In Svendborg Municipality, the pay for this type of position typically ranges from DKK 33,914 to DKK 46,421 per month for full-time employment. The pay includes pension, special holiday pay and fixed allowances. There may also be time-based allowances and other special allowances. It is important to note that your specific salary is determined by your experience, seniority and competences and is negotiated with the relevant union.

The position is initially 37 hours per week with shifts every other weekend. Five public holidays per year are worked.

We are flexible regarding the number of hours. Start date 1 January 2027 or as soon as possible.
