Are you excited about using AI, automation and modern technology to solve real business challenges? Do you enjoy understanding how a business works - and then turning its needs into solutions that people can use?

We are looking for a Digital Solutions Developer to join our IT Development team. You will work closely with colleagues across the business, helping them take digitalization ideas from an initial request to a fully operational solution.

This is not a role where you simply receive a finished specification and start coding. You will be involved from the beginning: understanding the underlying business need, challenging assumptions, exploring possible approaches and identifying where technology can create meaningful value.

Your role

You will act as a bridge between business needs and technology. Together with business stakeholders and colleagues in IT, you will identify opportunities, develop solutions and help bring them successfully into operation.

Depending on the opportunity, the right solution could involve AI, intelligent agents, automation, integrations, low-code technology, data or traditional software development. The important thing is not which technology is used, but that the solution addresses business needs and delivers lasting value.

You will become part of our IT Development team, where you can draw on the experience and technical capabilities already present. At the same time, we expect you to take ownership of your initiatives and drive them forward in close cooperation with the business.

An important part of the role will also be to strengthen our internal capabilities within AI, automation and modern development practices. You will share your knowledge, introduce new tools and approaches, and help colleagues across IT develop their technical skills. We want both the solutions you create and the knowledge behind them to benefit the wider team.

Your key responsibilities

• Engage with business colleagues to understand their processes, challenges and opportunities.
• Translate business needs into clear solution concepts and technical requirements.
• Evaluate ideas based on business value, feasibility, complexity and scalability.
• Develop prototypes and proof-of-concept solutions to test ideas quickly.
• Design, develop and implement digital solutions using AI, automation, integrations, low-code platforms or traditional code.
• Take initiatives from early exploration through development, testing, deployment and handover to operations.
• Ensure that solutions are secure, maintainable, documented and suitable for wider use.
• Support business users during implementation and help drive adoption.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, infrastructure specialists and other IT colleagues.
• Help strengthen the team’s knowledge of AI, automation and modern development technologies.
• Share knowledge through practical guidance, demonstrations, documentation and internal training.
• Support and advise IT colleagues when adopting new technologies and development approaches.
• Help establish reusable components, development patterns and good practices that enable the team to deliver solutions more effectively.
• Contribute to a culture of experimentation, continuous learning and knowledge sharing within IT.
• Stay curious about emerging technologies and turn relevant possibilities into practical business value.

About you

You are technically well founded, but technology alone is not what motivates you. You are curious about the business, enjoy working with people and want to understand the problem before choosing the solution.

You can move comfortably between conversations with business stakeholders and technical discussions with developers. You can explain complex topics in plain language and turn ideas that may initially be unclear into something concrete and actionable.

We imagine that you

• Have experience developing and implementing digital, automation or AI-based solutions.
• Have practical software development experience and are comfortable writing code.
• Understand APIs, integrations, data and modern application architecture.
• Have experience with - or a strong interest in - AI technologies, generative AI and intelligent agents.
• Can analyse business processes and translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Take ownership and are comfortable driving an initiative from idea to operation.
• Enjoy experimenting and prototyping while understanding what is required to build reliable production solutions.
• Communicate well with both technical and non-technical colleagues.
• Enjoy sharing your knowledge and helping colleagues develop their technical capabilities.
• Can explain new technologies and technical concepts in a practical and understandable way.
• Are comfortable taking the lead within your area of expertise without necessarily having formal leadership responsibility.
• Work in a structured and collaborative way.
• Are curious, pragmatic and focused on creating measurable value.

Experience with Microsoft Azure, C#/.NET, APIs, the Power Platform, Copilot Studio or similar technologies would be an advantage. However, your ability to understand problems, learn new technologies and deliver useful solutions is more important than experience with a specific platform.
