Disability Assistant

Disability helpers wanted

My name is Kurt, and I am seeking one or more disability helpers for permanent positions from 18 – 24 hours per week or by agreement. Also substitutes for holidays and illness.

Working hours and workplace

·                The workplace is in my home in Frederikshavn.

·                Shifts are mainly fixed in the following time periods

·                08:00 – 14:00

·                14:00 – 20:00

About the job

I need a helper who is present, responsible and engaged in their work . It is important to me that you don’t just “be there”, but actively participate in everyday life and take responsibility for your tasks.

Your tasks will include

·                Practical tasks at home (shopping, light cleaning, etc.)

·                Assistance with daily routines

·                Escort to medical appointments

·                Driving when needed (driving license class B required)

·                Help reaching things at home, as I have back problems and must not bend down

What I expect from you

I am looking for a helper who

·                Attends reliably and takes responsibility for their shifts

·                Calls and notifies in good time if sick

·                Is thorough and performs tasks properly – every time

·                Is clear in their communication

·                Respects working in a private home

·                Has a good mood and contributes to a positive daily life

It is important to me that you

·                Are present and socially oriented

·                Are keen to engage in dialogue, ask questions and create a good atmosphere

·                Contribute to everyday life not only functioning practically – but also humanly

The practical

·                Experience is not a requirement – the right attitude is most important. I obviously expect you to be mature and responsible.

·                The workplace is smoke-free

·                Flexibility is expected regarding shifts
