About the job

Would you like to help take operations to the next level in an organization where responsibility, initiative, and quality are essential to daily life?

We are seeking a distribution coordinator who thrives close to operations and is motivated by creating overview, ensuring quality, and following up across the organization. The role is central in the work to create a more uniform and stable operation, where agreements are followed, challenges are addressed quickly, and feedback and follow-up are a natural part of everyday life.

At dao, good operation means being present, reacting in time, and working proactively across the organization. We believe in close leadership, ongoing dialogue, rapid feedback, and clear expectations. Small problems should be solved before they become big – and we succeed only when we work as one team.

Overall purpose of the role

As a distribution coordinator, you will be an important part of the daily operation and a central link between planning, employees, and operations.

You will ensure that daily distribution runs stably and efficiently, while following up on performance, quality, behavior, and agreements in everyday life. The role requires an overview, structure, and the ability to act quickly and constructively in a fast-paced operation.

In the role of distribution coordinator you will contribute to

  • Better control of vehicles, including use, condition, damages, adherence to guidelines, as well as fuel and energy consumption.
  • Tighter personnel follow-up on employees, including attendance, behavior, adherence to procedures, and rapid handling of deviations.
  • Faster and more frequent feedback and corrective actions before small challenges develop into bigger problems.
  • More consistent operation across locations and teams.

Your primary tasks

You will become a central part of the daily operation with responsibility to ensure structure, stability, and progress. The role involves ongoing follow-up on operations, quality, and performance, as well as close dialogue with employees and partners to ensure clear expectations, consistent execution, and rapid handling of deviations.

You will contribute to ensuring that vehicles, processes, and daily planning function effectively and support an operation characterized by quality, responsibility, and collaboration. At the same time, you are expected to work proactively with follow-up, communication, and continuous improvements in everyday life.

Working hours will primarily fall in the early morning hours, but there may be shifts with late-evening start times. In addition, you should expect to participate in a weekend rotation with work every third or fourth weekend.

We imagine that you

  • Have experience from operations, logistics, or distribution.
  • Work structured and follow up on agreements and tasks.
  • Are visible, present, and good at building relationships.
  • Thrive with ongoing feedback and follow-up on performance.
  • Take responsibility and act quickly when something deviates.
  • Keep an overview in a busy and changing daily life.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally.
  • Focus on quality, collaboration, and stable operations.

Why you should choose dao

At dao you get a central role with great importance for daily operations. You will have the opportunity to influence workflows, structure, and follow-up and become part of a daily life with responsibility, variety, and close collaboration.

We place emphasis on quality, drive, and shared responsibility. At the same time, we are a company in development, where we work purposefully to improve our processes and create a more stable and efficient operation.
