Danas Have in Slagelse is looking for a kitchen assistant of 30 hours per week with commencement on 1 January or 1 February 2027.

Food is more than just food

At Danas Have, we work from the vision “Life should be lived throughout life.”

We are a new and modern private-assisted living home under OK-Fonden with room for 75 residents. Here we want to create a home filled with life, presence, community and good experiences.

The food and meals play a very special role in our daily life. The aroma from the kitchen, the taste of a good meat patty and the joy of a well-set table contribute to creating homeliness and quality of life.

We have our own production kitchen, where we cook with consideration, and where quality, taste and aesthetics are important ingredients.

You will become part of a good kitchen community

You will become part of a kitchen team of five staff members, where we help each other, take responsibility and have room for both professional sparring and a good laugh.

Your tasks will include

• Preparing tasty and inviting meals for our residents.
• Preparation and plating of both cold and hot dishes.
• Contribute to ensuring quality, taste, texture and aesthetics in the food.
• Participate in daily operations, cleaning and self-monitoring.
• Contribute with good ideas for the development of our food and meals.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the house so we together create good meal experiences.

Who are you?

We would like you to be trained as a nutrition assistant, chef, or have another relevant kitchen-related education. But most of all, your desire to make good food and be part of our community.
