4-year-old boy seeking a replacement.

The citizen has infantil autism. He has good language comprehension, repeats many words, but has a simple and not age-appropriate speech yet. He is very persistent and wants to be understood. He thinks very concretely.

He also likes mischief, but can get wound up quickly, so it must be in moderation.

The boy loves building Lego and playing with magnets. He is also a very active boy who enjoys moving, e.g., running games, riding a balance bike, dancing.

About the task

We are looking for a person who can come and be with the boy at home, play with him and take care of him. You also go on small outings, e.g., to the swimming pool, the library, the playground, etc. On trips you use bus and train and the boy has a stroller with him as well as possibly a lunchbox.

He needs a clear and spacious adult who meets him at eye level.

The boy benefits from being in a present, one-on-one relationship with an adult, where the adult lets interaction be based on his interests, follows him in his play and lets him be the initiator. The adult's speech should be adapted to the boy's language functioning level (simple) and can for a large part of the time consist of mirroring his sounds or simple comments on his play

Key words are: clarity, overview, structure, predictability, visualization, calm, pauses, and repetitions

He needs close guidance and support – also in social situations. He benefits from the fact that the adult is motivating and good at coming up with ideas.

Working hours

Agreed with the citizen's mother, but the starting point is

Every other Sunday 3 ½ hours during daytime. In addition 2 ½ hours every other Wednesday afternoon/evening, 4-6:30 pm (both in even weeks).

About you

You are clear, patient and with a good, positive aura and energy. You must be motivating and happy to move around.

It is an advantage if you have experience with children with autism, possibly trained as a pedagogue, but not required. There is an option to be paid according to education or experience.
