About the job

Would you like to be a special educational advisor in a PPR in development in Brøndby

At PPR Brøndby we are looking for three special educational advisors for permanent positions. Among other things, we have received more resources for the collaboration with the All-day Offer Nørregård, which is Brøndby municipality's extensive specialized school and leisure offer for children with autism spectrum disorders and significant functional impairments.

In PPR Brøndby we are focused on contributing to creating crucial positive changes for children and young people aged 0-18 in their development environments and communities. So if you’re good at co-teaching or co-practice, are a weekly revolutionist, are an expert in Marte Meo or ICDP, are sharp on teaching differentiation or an eagle at guidance, special education and learning, etc., you might be the one we’re missing on the team.

As a special educational advisor in PPR Brøndby, you will have professionally engaging tasks, a really good colleague group, a cross-professional collaborative culture with the other three professional groups (speech therapists, psychologists and sensory-motor therapists), where the culture is characterized by curiosity, professional discussions, engagement and high ceilings.

Can you see yourself in that, we would love to welcome you from 1 January 2027 J

A bit about what you step into

It is important for us to be relevant partners for both children, young people and their families as well as for professionals in the field. We therefore focus on making a real difference close to everyday life and in practice. We do this based on good collaboration habits, creative solutions and attention and care for the situation and complexity that both children, young people, families and external colleagues face.

We place emphasis on arranging a good introduction program so you are equipped to take on the tasks, which is why you will also be assigned a mentor from your own professional group. To support a high professional level we have, among other things, regular external supervision for all special educational advisors and psychologists, just as relevant competence development is regularly offered in the form of courses and theme days.

What does the job entail?

You will be part of both cross-disciplinary and autonomous tasks. In these tasks there will be sparring and advice to teachers, pedagogues and leaders; involvement of parents; observations and what you professionally assess could support the children's development, learning and well-being. We work extensively to support the adults around the children, with the aim of creating good participation opportunities for all children.

The tasks you may work into can be in both day care and school sectors, as well as tasks within the special education area. You can work with individual children and with groups of children/classes.

It is essential for us to assemble a task portfolio that makes sense both for the individual and for the overall task solution.

centrally in the special educational advisor position is that you work closely with practice with concrete initiatives to strengthen both the preventative and anticipatory work with inclusion. You do this based on professional knowledge and methods as well as experience in the field and with a strong focus on being motivating, practically oriented and supportive in the development processes you help to initiate.

The basis for collaboration with school/SFO/day care will sometimes be individual children, and sometimes be classes/groups of children, and with regard to the pedagogical and structural setup and context surrounding the students. The special educational approaches and methods should strengthen inclusion and contribute to more children having the opportunity to thrive and succeed in inclusive environments, and you will probably also participate in the development and implementation of middle forms in collaboration.

We are focused on expanding the repertoire of practice-oriented interventions and thematic courses that can be offered to partners. In the past there have, for example, been a theme day on Low Arousal at one of the schools, guidance in co-teaching at another school, planned courses on playground pedagogy for schools and day care, as well as work with the physical learning environments.

Your profile

We hope to see your application if you recognize yourself in the profile

  • Are a trained teacher or pedagogue with broad experience within your field – possibly supplemented with relevant further education or an academic upgrade
  • Have well-founded professional knowledge and experience in bringing both general and special educational tools into practice
  • Have good experience in advising, guiding, supervising and teaching professionals
  • Work and collaborate flexibly and purposefully with a basis in being a PPR employee and being a special educational advisor
  • Have good relation-building skills and are a good team player
  • Have good experience with meeting leadership and an eye for positions in communication
  • That you, in a spirit of dialogue, are prepared to be challenged in both your practice and your thoughts/ideas – just as you are generous with your knowledge and positively contributing to the common task of creating high professional standards, good collegiality and good well-being
  • Creatively and constructively will participate in both development of the team (e.g., in relation to working methods and internal/external collaboration) and development of services in the area
