Special education advisors sought for PPR in Favrskov Municipality

Educational Psychological Counseling in Favrskov Municipality is looking for two experienced and professionally engaged special education mentors for fixed 37-hour positions starting February 1, 2027. The positions are placed in PPR for the 0-18 year age group, where you will join a special education team of 7 staff as well as participate in cross-disciplinary collaboration with the rest of PPR.

The special educational team primarily has the task of improving the practice of professionals in the public schools through cross-cutting processes, where the team contributes with pedagogical and didactic knowledge and methods into the general and specialized learning environments to create a sustainable practice in the children's communities. As our new colleague, your tasks will include, for example:

• Analysis and collection of data based on various forms of observation including video observation
• Professional sparring and guidance to professionals and teams in schools and day-care
• Collaboration with management, mentors, pedagogues and teachers
• Use of Co-teaching or action learning as a mentoring method for competence development
• Guidance aimed at supporting and facilitating school-wide competence development
• Participate in cross-disciplinary collaboration in PPR regarding task solving

We expect that you

• Have a relevant medium- to long-term education - e.g. teacher or pedagogue
• Have experience and knowledge of being a mentor and have good relationship skills
• Have knowledge of Co-teaching, action learning, video-based reflection or other inclusive educational and didactic methods
• Have knowledge and practical experience with special educational methods and tools that you can convey in a mentoring role
• Can work independently, systematically and cross-disciplinary
• Are engaged and quality-conscious in your work

About the workplace and the position in general

PPR in Favrskov consists of 40 employees, of whom 7 form a special education team. Other professional groups include reading consultants, speech therapists, psychologists, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists. We focus on a good working environment and place a high value on both mono- and cross-professional sparring within a positive work community. PPR has an office in Hvorslev, but tasks are carried out at institutions and schools.

The team members plan and organize their tasks in collaboration with their cooperative relations within a shared professional framework in the team and under professional leadership by the team coordinator and department management. Positions are established as we prepare for new legislation in the PPR area in 2027 and beyond, which increases our focus on supporting schools' preventive efforts. Further information
