Can you spark excitement among the young? Join the team!

We are looking for a good teacher, primarily for Overhuset 6th – 9th grade, with strong teaching competencies mainly in physical education and German, a great drive and desire to connect with and form relationships with our children, young people and colleagues within the following subjects:

• Overhuset: Primarily PE and German and preferably with competencies in Danish, history and Christianity
• All PE is taught across the year group with seasoned colleagues. German, Danish, cultural subjects and visual arts are in close sparring with experienced colleagues.

Overall, we are curious about who you are and what you can contribute in both the classroom and staff room. We envision you as an active, engaging and curious teacher who is particularly good at connecting with our young people, and who arrives with a smile and a joy for teaching in primary school.

Kildebjergskolen – a vibrant school in the heart of Mørkøv

In the western part of Holbæk Municipality you will find Kildebjergskolen in Mørkøv. High up with a view of fields and forests, you will find our school – a development-oriented rural school with a budding children/young people life in school, X-class, after-school care (SFO) and Kildebjerg Club, well supported by strong local forces. We have established the Village Scheme Kildefryd in close pedagogical cooperation with Frydendal Nature Nursery and have joint appointments between school and nursery.

At the school you will be met by an active, skilled and fun colleague community with a strong desire to work on school development and with a great eagerness to be in social communities – both during and outside work hours. You will also meet 400 children and young people from 0th – 9th grade who are curious about their surroundings and who experience making a positive mark on our shared school.

We cherish a common child-centered view, community and academic standards, and have implemented several new initiatives with good results – e.g. free school meals for the oldest students (eventually for all students), later start times for 6th – 9th grade, friendship classes, the elective subject 'Junior Coach', well-being and play patrols, Flexible school start in kindergarten, and theme days as a fixed part of the timetable. We have many traditional events, such as Kildefryd Festival, Association Day, pedagogical evenings, morning singing and communal gatherings.

We place the children's voices high – the same applies to our staff. We believe that involvement in the school we come to every day promotes enthusiasm and motivation and creates a strong sense of ownership.
