Are you passionate about creating the optimal framework for the night? Do you have a sharp eye for both acute medical treatment and the importance of good sleep hygiene? Then you now have a unique opportunity to become part of our team.

In the Acute Geriatric Department we place great emphasis on ensuring our patients have time to sleep. We know that good sleep hygiene and safety are fundamental to the recovery of the elderly patient. As our new night shift nurse, your primary task will be to create an environment where calm settles in, while you provide nursing care of high professional quality.

Your daily life and professional profile

You will gain broad and in-depth knowledge of geriatric and internal medical patients in a department with space for 22 patients. Your tasks will include, among others:

• Active sleep hygiene and relief: You work purposefully to remove obstacles to a good night's sleep. This means you have a sharp focus on and other factors that can disturb sleep, while at the same time minimizing noise and light in rooms and corridors.
• Complex nursing care: You handle acute medical issues such as infections, sepsis and respiratory challenges in the elderly frail patient.
• Safety and wholeness: You meet the patient with presence and create safe surroundings in the face of physical, mental or social challenges, so the night feels secure for the individual.

We are a staff group consisting of both new and experienced nurses as well as social and health care assistants, all of whom are passionate about geriatrics. We value cross-disciplinary collaboration highly to ensure a good patient journey – also beyond the admission itself.

Area of employment

Starting salary for employees under collective agreement

The region is obliged to inform you of the starting salary for the position. You will be informed of base salary, centrally set allowances and pension in the relevant collective agreement. In addition to the starting salary, the pay may include any negotiated allowances depending on the position, your experience and qualifications.
