Dalum Børnehus seeks an engaged and present pedagogical assistant for 37 hours, as of December 1, 2026 or as soon as possible.

Dalum Børnehus is part of Børneinstitution Sanderum-Tingløkke. We have between 51-60 lovely, happy, initiative-taking and curious children aged 2-6 years.

About the job

As a pedagogical assistant you are an important part of the children's daily life. You

• Participate actively in play and activities, and initiate games in large and small childrenellowships on your own initiative
• Create safe relationships with the children and their parents
• Maintain calm and an overview in situations where there is a rush and circumstances call for presence and adults among the children
• Support everyday routines and pedagogical frameworks. You are a master at soothing a bruise, applying a plaster and changing a diaper, as well as meeting the children where they developmentally need to be met
• Work closely with pedagogues, the daily leader and other colleagues in the house

About you

We are looking for the right person to complete our staff group and we imagine that you have a fundamental attitude based on Institution Sanderum-Tinglfes five core assumptions:

• Children always behave properly (children are never the problem – children show the problem)

• You want to work with children aged 2-6 years.

• Can cooperate and contribute positively to the community.
• Meet children and adults with respect and an open mind.
• Experience from early childhood education is clearly an advantage.

Salary and employment terms

Salary and employment terms in accordance with the applicable collective agreement between KL and the negotiating organization. Upon appointment, a child and criminal record check will be obtained. The position is paid according to the applicable collective agreement depending on experience and qualifications. The expected salary level is stated before any potential interview
