On behalf of Christensen/Kromann we are seeking an experienced and engaged geotechnical engineer. We have offices in both Bjerringbro and Roskilde, so you will be attached to the location that suits you best. About the company and the role

Christensen/Kromann has since 2010 delivered geotechnical consulting to projects across the country and has especially contributed to many projects within green energy and infrastructure. They are specialists in practical geotechnical work and do everything from preliminary investigations and calculations to supervision.

About the job and your daily work

You will be based in either Bjerringbro or Roskilde, where you work together with several experienced colleagues and management. Here there is a short path to sparring, professional depth and cafeteria coffee and a good mix of routines and variety in the task solution. The department is busy, and you will enter a role where you quickly take on responsibility and are involved in exciting projects across the country.

The position combines fieldwork with professional deepening. At the same time you will have a special focus on design and calculations, which are expected to account for about 30–35% of your working time. This can include the preparation of geotechnical design reports, pile foundations, sheet pile calculations and documentation for construction bases.

Your tasks will include, among others

• Geotechnical design and documentation – you will have your own tasks related to calculations and reports
• Supervision and follow-up on construction sites – with great contact to both clients and contractors
• Geotechnical field investigations – including sampling, assessment and analysis of soil conditions
• Professional sparring and quality assurance in close cooperation with the team in Bjerringbro and the rest of the organization
• Diverse task solving – you will not be locked into one project, but will contribute broadly

The position offers a lot of freedom and also the expectation that you take responsibility, solve tasks independently and contribute where there is a need.

Who are you?

You have a minimum of 3+ years of experience, but preferably more, and you thrive in a varied everyday life where you both work with dust on your shoes and documentation on the screen.
