Apply for the position

Would you like to work with geotechnical surveys, design and supervision – and develop our client relationships in West Jutland? Then you might be our next colleague!

We are looking for a geotechnical project manager for our Esbjerg office

At Sweco we are busy with exciting tasks within both infrastructure and construction, and we are currently looking for more geotechnicians for our office in Esbjerg. We work with geotechnical surveys, design and supervision in close collaboration with competent colleagues across offices in Denmark and Europe. Our culture is driven by closeness, engagement and strong professional competencies. Does that sound like a everyday you would like to be a part of? Then come and work with us at Europe’s largest advisory architectural and engineering company!

Your responsibilities

Sweco is the only one of the large technical consultancies in Denmark that also possesses field geotechnical competencies with ten drilling rigs, geophysical equipment and our own large geotechnical laboratory. Based on your competencies and interests, your areas of responsibility and tasks can span broadly – both in content and size:

  • Planning, interpretation and reporting of geotechnical investigations
  • Design and calculations, e.g. in Plaxis, GeoSlope, Optum or Spooks
  • Geotechnical supervision
  • Project management
  • Market and bid work, especially in West Jutland

You will become part of a strong team of geotechnicians and other colleagues, and you will have a large responsibility in your projects.

Sweco’s model

At Sweco we are always close to our customers. We strive to understand our clients’ business and actively develop long-term customer relationships at all levels in the organization. Our structure is decentralized, and you will quickly gain responsibility as well as opportunities for personal and professional development.

The tasks range from smaller buildings to large infrastructure projects with cross-disciplinary collaboration at national and international levels – e.g. Aarhus Stadium, expansion of Fredericia Harbour, development of Esbjerg Harbour, new underground entrance for the Folketing, or the Fredericia-Padborg railway line.

About you

In addition to your passion and professional insight into geotechnical engineering, you are a trained engineer. You have at least 5 years of experience from the consulting or contracting industry and are used to acting in a collaborative and customer-oriented manner as geotechnical discipline lead, technical lead or project manager. You thrive in a varied everyday life that includes both desk time and field work, and you are motivated by developing and creating new customer relationships.

You will base yourself at our Esbjerg office, but you are also keen to visit our other offices and projects in Denmark from time to time.

You have strong communication and collaboration skills, which you can bring to bear with customers, partners and colleagues. You thrive in a fast-paced environment with many diverse tasks – but we also look after each other and our well-deserved leisure time.

Can you see yourself as part of Sweco?

Then send us your CV via the link below. We conduct interviews on an ongoing basis, so please apply as soon as possible.
