About the job

We are not just looking for a driver. We are looking for a team player.

Do you want a job where your efforts every day make a difference for patients in the Capital Region of Denmark?

We are looking for a responsible and service-minded driver for our blood sample collection with base from Hvidovre Hospital.

For us, the job is about more than getting from A to B. You will become an important part of the healthcare system's logistics, where timely collection and delivery of blood samples is essential for the patients' samples to be analyzed.

You will have an independent workday with responsibility for your tasks, but you will also be part of a team where we help each other, take responsibility for the community and succeed together.

About the job

Your primary task will be to collect blood samples and other specimen material from general practitioners and deliver it safely and on time to the region's laboratories.

Your tasks also include

  • Driving on planned routes in the region's electric vehicles.
  • Collection and secure transport of blood samples and other specimen material.
  • Registration and handling of tasks via mobile phone.
  • Ensuring that pickups and deliveries occur within the agreed time frames.
  • Collaboration with colleagues to make the daily operations succeed.
  • Handling other transport tasks as needed.

Working hours are 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday from 11:30 to 16:30, starting from Hvidovre Hospital.

There may be changes in working hours and tasks as needed.

Who are you?

We are looking for a colleague who takes responsibility, works independently and thrives in a daily life where the pace can be high at times. You also understand the value of a strong sense of community, where we help each other and lift the tasks together.

We especially emphasize that you

  • Have a category B driving licence and be a safe and responsible driver.
  • Are reliable, punctual and quality-conscious.
  • Work independently and maintain an overview in a busy daily life.
  • Are service-minded, flexible and contribute positively to collaboration.
  • Flexibility is important, as we rotate between several different routes.
  • Can use a smartphone as a work tool and communicate in Danish.

The job requires you to handle the physical tasks involved. Experience as a driver and knowledge of Copenhagen and surroundings is an advantage, but your attitude and willingness to be part of the team weigh the most.

What can you expect from us?

You will become part of the Unit for Transport and Fleet Management under the Center for Properties in the Capital Region of Denmark.

We are a workplace where cooperation, responsibility and quality are a natural part of everyday life. Although a large part of the work takes place independently on the roads, you are never alone with the task.

We believe that clear frameworks, mutual trust and a strong sense of community create the best results. Therefore, we emphasize a culture where we speak to each other respectfully, share knowledge and help when needed.

For us, all functions are important, and we know that daily operations only succeed when everyone contributes.
