DSA teacher for Guldborgsund Language School

Guldborgsund Sprogskole seeks a teacher of Danish as a second language for adults and young people aged 18 and over.

At Guldborgsund Language School we are looking for a new colleague to teach Danish as a second language and Danish culture and society.

You will become part of our strong team of teachers and administrative staff, who daily ensure competent and professional Danish language instruction to many residents in Guldborgsund Municipality.

We are looking for

a professionally competent and engaged teacher who

• meets our learners at eye level with respect and recognition
• has experience teaching on all three Danish language education programmes and online teaching, and who may also have competencies in special education (e.g., teaching of people with dyslexia or those who have experienced trauma)
• can teach at all levels of the Danish language education programmes – in classrooms, online, in smaller special groups and/or in company-based teaching
• can plan and implement differentiated teaching in Danish as a second language
• wants to create a communicative and task-based teaching
• is interested in possibly also taking on the role of module tester, assessor or guiding learners to the Prøve i Dansk 1, 2 or 3
• is open to taking on other task types and/or roles if needed for the school's operations and ongoing development

We expect that you

• have experience with teaching Danish as a second language
• have completed – or are in the process of – the training to become a teacher of Danish as a second language (DAV or MAV)
• are a team player who contributes positively both academically and socially
• want to join the language school’s professional and lively teaching team
• can work closely with colleagues as well as internal and external collaborators

Terms of employment

According to the current collective agreement with the Education Union.

Employment from 4 January 2027.

1 permanent position of 37 hours per week.
