Skilled wellbeing educator for Herningsholmskolen, Holtbjerg department

We are seeking a wellbeing pedagogue who

• will actively participate in the Holtbjerg team with an eye for many different tasks
• has a strong desire to work with students' wellbeing in a broad sense among multilingual students
• participates in the daily wellbeing work among students in all classes
• conducts conversations with students
• engages in dialogue with parents and other professionals
• collaborates constructively with colleagues within the wellbeing area and other disciplines
• participates in meetings with the school's psychologist and the educational adviser
• participates in - and coordinates collaboration meetings with external partners
• collaborates with Plads til Forskel on the housing-social holistic plan integrated into the school
• contributes to the school's focus on community, academic excellence and recognition of diversity
• is inclusive in dealings with students, parents and colleagues
• has good communication skills with students, parents, colleagues and management
• is willing to share experiences and professional knowledge with colleagues and open to professional sparring and discussions with colleagues
• contributes to a friendly and warm tone of conduct at the school
• contributes to creating wellbeing for both children and adults
• participates in our groups of special resource persons

About the school

Herningsholmskolen is centrally located in Herning and has a total of about 600 pupils and around 110 staff distributed across two departments. We work purposefully to be one school with common values, while safeguarding local traditions and strengths at each department.

Students from both departments are gathered in the upper school at the Sjællandsgade department, and during the school program children and teachers from both departments collaborate on a wide range of activities.

At the Sjællandsgade department we also have a special department for students with general learning difficulties. We are about 110 staff at the school from different disciplinary backgrounds.
