Educator for maternity leave replacement in Grøftekanten

We are seeking a skilled educator for our lovely children in the kindergarten department in a maternity leave cover on 34 hours per week from 1 January 2027 or as soon as possible thereafter.

Grøftekanten is a day care with children aged 0-6 years distributed across two baby groups and four kindergarten groups. We are an active institution, which in daily life emphasizes play, a varied and qualitative outdoor life, creative expressions and experiences, singing and movement.

With us, pedagogical work is always grounded in relationships and the safe and trusting interaction. Your primary focus is to keep the child’s perspective in mind.

In Grøftekanten you will be part of a wonderful house with a good working community and high professionalism. You will have your everyday on one room in the kindergarten, and together and across, we share knowledge and sparring and qualify pedagogy, perspectives and initiatives.

You will be tasked with contributing to a rich childhood life in all everyday aspects and initiating activities within the themes of the strengthened Pedagogical Learning Plan.

You will have good opportunities to bring your interests into play together with the children. We offer a versatile and rich environment, both indoors and outdoors, and we have diverse play environments with room for all forms of expression. We have a good local environment in Tvis, and we have the multi-purpose hall available.

You will also work with implementing and developing broader child communities, and you will have the opportunity to qualify your knowledge through courses, where the focus areas are mentalization, attachment, play and language.

Good prerequisites for working with us

• You are engaged, flexible, positive, warm-hearted and professionally competent and have an eye for children’s potentials.
• You are persistent and stand secure in pedagogical practice and master creating overview, calm and presence in the daily structure and organization.
• You work purposefully with focus on children's development and documentation of workflows and evaluation
• You work according to the principles of The Incredible Years in practice and can translate values and pedagogy into practice.
• You have good communication skills.

Grøftekanten is located in Tvis, about 7 km from Holstebro.
