Educator for maternity leave substitute at Børnehuset Hånbæk

We are looking for a qualified pedagogue for a maternity leave temporary position in our house. In our house we have fantastic children, great colleagues and a daily life full of meaning.

Are you the type who gains energy from children's laughter, curious questions and spontaneous hugs? Can you see opportunities in jumping in puddles with the children, find a stick that can create a good play and can grasp the children's imagination and play along?

Can you create safe communities where children thrive, develop and experience mastery? Can you keep an overview and create a secure structure? THEN IT MAY BE YOU WE ARE MISSING. In our house we believe that we have the world's most important job.

We are an age-integrated day care, and for us a temporary position means that you want to and can work with children in both the toddler group and the kindergarten.

Our maternity leave temporary position is 37 hours per week from 1 December 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter.

Who are we?

We are an age-integrated day care with 84 fantastic children distributed across three toddler groups and three kindergarten groups.

Here there is room to breathe, room for laughter in daily life and colleagues who help each other. At the same time we take our professionalism seriously. We work from a shared view of childhood, where we believe that children do well if they can.

That means, among other things, that we do not ask: ”What is the problem with the child?” but instead: ”What can we do differently so the child succeeds?”
