Educator for SFO and school at Engholmskolen

Engholmskolen i Allerød seeks a committed and skilled pedagogue for our SFO and school with start on January 1, 2027 or as soon as possible thereafter. The position is 32-35 hours per week. We are looking for a trained pedagogue who is passionate about working with children and can contribute to their development and well-being.

About the position

You will be responsible for planning and implementing pedagogical activities both in the SFO and in the primary school, in close collaboration with colleagues and parents. Here we work together to create good frames for the children’s social and academic development.

In our SFO you should be able to see yourself both in the school and in the SFO part, where we collaborate cross-disciplinary in teams. In the role as class pedagogue you will be assigned to one of the classes in the lower primary, where you are a consistent adult for part of the school day.

In our SFO we work in workshops and use nature and the school’s facilities for pedagogical activities.

We are seeking a pedagogue with relevant education and experience from work in SFO and school. You should be engaged, flexible and cooperative as well as have good communication and collaboration skills. It is important that you can create safe and developmental environments for the children.

Working hours are from 7:00 to 16:45 and planned according to annual norm.

Engholmskolen is a three-track school with 700 students from kindergarten to 9th grade, divided into 3 departments. The school has a group arrangement on the premises for children needing an autism-pedagogical approach and a special school for young people aged 13-16 years. In the SFO we are 270 children from kindergarten to 3rd grade
