Educator or pedagogical assistant for Humble School

We need a skilled and lively person for our school

The position is 37 hours per week, with appointment until the summer holidays 2027.

We have a well-functioning local school - with low class sizes, and a pathway from 0 to 6th grade.

The task is to be two adults in the learning space. Primarily in our 1st grade where we need the 12 lovely children to regain calm and the secure framework after a spring and a school start with a bit too much unpredictability, and many adults involved. A number of hours will also be in the joint reading between 0th and 1st grade.

We value applicants who possess a large amount of zest for life and good humor, a certain amount of self-insight is not a hindrance, and the ability to manage one’s own time is a plus. You are not faultless, but you are a team player. It should be allowed to make mistakes - as long as we learn from them, and if necessary articulate them.

You have ambitions for your task, and you know that good well-being and development for individual children and classes are created by you – in collaboration with your skilled colleagues who advocate for an equal distribution of roles in everyday life.

You are trained as a pedagog or pedagogical assistant, and a presence who knows how important the relationship is. We at the school are always curious about others' competencies and attitudes, and we are always looking for the positive approach. We build the school from the bottom up, in the equal meeting between parents, staff, students, and management. We look at intention before result. We are appreciative, and open in our communication. Everyone has something to contribute, therefore we listen before we act, and when we act - it should be visible to everyone.

We offer, however, a place with a solid foundation, and that is in good development. Both as a school where we are proud of what we do, and where we look at a school day with open doors, clear project days, science at eye level and a lot of interdisciplinarity - but also in collaboration with our day-care unit Rævehøj.

Salary and employment

The position is a fixed-term appointment from 1 November 2026, until 30 June 2027.

The working hours are 37 hours per week, of which 30 are in the school part and the remaining 7 in the SFO (after-school care).

Lønn- and employment terms in accordance with the applicable collective agreement and the principles of local wage formation.

The salary is set by individual negotiation based on either the Agreement for Pedagogues at Daycare Institutions, After-School Programs, Clubs, etc., or the Agreement for Pedagogical Assistants and Pedagogical Assistants.

The starting salary for a pedagogue in this position is expected to be between 34,400-39,300 DKK per month (excluding pension), depending on experience/seniority.

The starting salary for a pedagogical assistant in this position is expected to be between 29,400-32,300 DKK per month (excluding pension), depending on experience/seniority.

In addition there will be the possibility of negotiating individual allowances based on relevant competencies.
