About us: A laboratory for good ideas and high professionalism

Bengerds Huse is a residential care facility in Ringsted Municipality for adults with reduced functioning. We have a total of 38 wonderful citizens aged 21 to 75, who need support, guidance and presence in everyday life. The majority of the citizens participate in day services on weekdays. In Ringsted Municipality, the citizen is the measure of all things. This means we do not lock ourselves into old patterns, but constantly adjust our efforts to match each individual citizen's needs.

Our core task is clear: ”To offer a meaningful everyday life for people with special needs with a focus on individual development, quality and presence.”

In Team 5 you will have your daily routine among 6 citizens aged 25-54. We base our practice on three core elements: relationship work, documentation and practical work. We are a multidisciplinary and diverse staff group that values a creative, dynamic and safe workplace. We take responsibility for each other, dare to think outside the box, and actively want to use our professional differences. We have social- and health care assistants in all six of our teams to continuously raise the health profession’s level.

If you choose the SSA track, you will join as the 2nd SSA in the team and work closely with the rest of the house’s assistants and our quality nurse.

Innovation and professional methods at play

With us, professional methods such as ICDP, VUM 2.0 and FSIII are active tools for development. We place high importance on training all staff in ICDP to ensure a strong, shared pedagogical language. We also offer ongoing courses and professional development in neuro-pedagogy, Low Arousal 2.0 and FSIII.

Who are you?

You are educated as an educator or as a social- and health care assistant (SSA).

If you are applying for the SSA position, you recognize yourself in the following

• You are professionally skilled and able to work both independently and in teams.
• You work in a structured way with the citizens’ holistic states and documentation (preferably with knowledge of the FSIII method, FMK and Nexus).
• You are good at communicating and sharing your health professional knowledge (e.g., about lifting, medication administration, hygiene, diet and exercise) with your pedagogical colleagues.
• You are flexible, reliable, mentally robust and good at thinking in new possibilities in a mainly pedagogical context.

Salary, working hours and terms of employment

The position is 30 - 32 hours per week with rotating working hours (primarily day and evening shifts) in the period 07:00 - 22:00. You will work every other weekend and on public holidays according to a fixed schedule. Employment and remuneration are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement. The position is available as soon as possible. In connection with the appointment, a child and/or criminal record check may be obtained.
