Educator sought for maternity leave cover in our nursery for 30 hours per week

Do you want to help create a secure, caring and development-oriented everyday life for our youngest children?

We are seeking an engaged educator for a maternity leave position in our nursery, where there are 12 lovely children who greet the world daily with curiosity, joy and a desire to learn.

We are a newly built institution with both nursery and kindergarten, where the framework is designed for play, learning, community and well-being. With us, we place emphasis on meeting all children with presence, care and recognition, so they feel seen, heard and valued.

We are looking for you who

• Are caring and present and meet the children with warmth and security.
• Can meet children at their level – physically and metaphorically – and meet the children where they are.
• Work in an affirming manner and have an eye for each child’s needs, feelings and development.
• Are flexible and can adapt to the changing needs of everyday life.
• Are stable and take responsibility for creating a safe and recognizable daily routine for the children.
• Want to be part of a community where we help each other and collaborate on the children’s well-being.
• Can initiate activities that cater to children aged 1-3 years.
