Educator sought for Præstegård School, Line S, Kvaglund Department

Line S at Kvaglundskolen in Esbjerg Municipality is seeking an educational professional for a permanent position with a start date of December 1, 2026, or as soon as possible. You must have a strong interest and experience in working with children and young people within the special needs field, as well as the ability to participate in physically active activities. The positions are between 30-37 hours per week.

Line S is a segregated school offering for students in Esbjerg Municipality. The target group is students from 0th to 9th grade with a combination of severe social, emotional, cognitive, communicative and/or relational difficulties. There will often be complex difficulties as well as students with diagnoses within the autism spectrum, ADHD, etc.

These are students who, due to their functional level and challenges, have not benefited from the offer in a mainstream class. In order for the student to be offered schooling at Line S, the student must be referred via the central admission committee, DUS.

Line S currently has about 110 students aged 6-17 years spread across 0nd-9th grade, and there are currently 23 teachers and 24 educational professionals who work closely in class teams.
