Would you like to work in a dynamic and diverse after-school program in the heart of the old Sydhavn?

Then you should read on here, because at the KKFO by Ellebjerg School we are looking for dynamic, engaged and proactive pedagogues who can be role models, lead the way in daily life, and who have a lot of initiative.

We are a KKFO for children aged 5-10 years. We have approx. 300 children from grades 0-3, distributed across three sites.

The KKFO is part of Ellebjerg School. We have the lovely green schoolyard, school garden and playground with a bonfire area. We have a close, daily cooperation with the school, where the pedagogues have hours per week in the school part, distributed across class hours, cross-curricular programs, well-being programs across the school and KKFO, preparation, team meetings and staff meetings.

Our children's group is diverse – with many different needs and different cultures – which also means that we as adults must be diverse in our approach to tasks.

The staff have a close collaboration across the sites, both practically and pedagogically, and it is expected that you help each other in daily life.

At the KKFO we work with well-being, relationships, social skills and communities as key words for a healthy and developing daily life for the children. Our range of activities and offerings spans from the physical and active to the concentrated, immersive, imaginative and creative.

We expect (among other things) that you

• are a trained pedagogue, preferably with experience from school and leisure-time areas
• are theoretically as practically well-founded
• can create clear and predictable frameworks for the children
• are interested in close cooperation with the school
• are engaged and proactive in the pedagogical work with the children and are a present colleague and sparring partner
• are able to work independently and systematically, e.g. using SMTTE and TOPI models
• appear as a loving and caring adult for the children
• see the diversity among the children as a strength and a space of possibilities
• are able to use iPad, smartphone and PC on a daily basis
• are prepared for a workday that most often ends in the time frame 16:00–17:00
• can work across professional groups and year levels with a focus on well-being programs

Employment terms

The working hours are 37 hours per week with start on December 1, 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter. Salary and terms of employment will be in accordance with the applicable collective agreement.

In connection with the appointment, we will obtain child and criminal record checks as well as references from the most recent place of work.
