Egebjergskolen is seeking a teacher for DSA and what you are good at

The school is growing and so is our number of students with a need for language support, so we need a teacher who can contribute to that task, preferably with experience. We can offer good facilities and a strong collegial community. Fresh and happy students with parents who back the school. We are a practical training school and therefore have many students during the year, and we have a reputation for being skilled at inclusion at a high academic level.

Your school timetable is something you help to create, but it should include a large portion of DSA. We probably cannot create your dream timetable from the start, but we are quite flexible, especially for the right person. Perhaps you have specialization in Danish, DSA or other exciting areas. The school has three departments and you are expected to be employed in the primary or middle school levels.

Teaching in DSA alternates between supporting students in classes and smaller groups gathered for language instruction.

You are trained or have equivalent competencies to carry out teaching in DSA (Danish as a second language).

About Egebjergskolen

Egebjergskolen is physically located in Horsens N, close to the motorway exit. The Egebjerg area is a fast-growing local community, located close to both the city and beautiful natural areas with numerous opportunities for exploration and experiences, also in an educational context. The school has about 700 wonderful students spread across grades 0-9 and is 3-streamed at most year groups. SFO1 and SFO2 are attached.

The local area is an active and positive partner for the school, and there is excellent cooperation between the school and local stakeholders such as the church, private businesses, associations.

The school is organized into an early years department, a middle school department and a upper secondary department. As an employee you are primarily attached to one department. You participate in a collegial collaboration forum, a PLF, where you collaborate on students' learning and well-being as well as teaching planning. In addition, there is work with pedagogical reflection and practice development in other meeting forums.
