Egehaven Nursing Home is seeking a dedicated colleague for a permanent evening shift

Are you a professionally skilled Social and Health Assistant (SSA) or Social and Health Helper (SSH) who thrives in the evening shift?

The Care Center Egehaven is located just 10 minutes from Køge town centre, and we are seeking a professionally competent and engaged social and health assistant or social and health helper for a permanent evening shift with start on 1 November 2026 or as soon as possible.

You will become part of a well-functioning evening team, where collaboration, professionalism and care go hand in hand. We have a stable staff group, where several of our employees have been at Egehaven for many years. This provides valuable continuity, good familiarity with the residents and a strong collegial community, where we know each other and help each other in daily life.

Work hours and weekend shift

The team works regularly on Monday and Tuesday as well as with weekend shifts in even weeks. From 1 January 2027 the weekend shift will change to odd weeks.

• Are educated as a Social and Health Assistant (SSA) or Social and Health Helper (SSH).
• Have a high level of professionalism and work in a structured and responsible manner.
• Contribute actively to a good working environment and a well-functioning work community.
• Are reliable in attendance and flexible regarding task solutions.
• Work from a person-centered approach and take the individual resident's wishes and needs as a starting point.
• Acknowledge and support the resident's self-determination and work from the idea that the resident is the boss of their own life.
• See relatives as an important resource and value collaboration with them.
• Have an interest in collaboration with civil society.
• Can support residents in participating in meaningful activities and create good moments in daily life.
