Electrician for street lighting

For our street and road lighting team we are looking for an electrician who thrives both with outdoor tasks and with great freedom under responsibility.

Verdo Teknik A/S is responsible for street and road lighting in several municipalities around Randers and has just secured an agreement with Randers Municipality for another 4 years, and for this team we are seeking an independent and technically strong electrician.

The tasks

You will join a team that handles tasks within

• Operations and maintenance of the municipalities' road lighting
• Establishment of road lighting in new subdivisions
• Establishment of installations for special and high-intensity lighting
• Energy renovation of street lighting
• Troubleshooting at light points/control cabinets, so we maintain lighting at all points
• Safety inspections and maintenance of documentation
• Work at height, which is carried out from our professional vehicles with a lift

About you

In addition to being a trained electrician, with great professionalism and an understanding of a high level of service, it would be an advantage, but not a requirement, if you have experience with traffic installations. You may also be newly trained, as long as you have the right attitude to quality and service. You have a category B driving license and preferably C, but this is not a requirement.

You have good IT skills and see PC/tablet as a natural working tool for recording faults on lighting systems and city systems. Since we work with safety requirements both when we are on the road and at height, this should be important to you.
