About the job

Clinical Research Unit (CRU), Herlev-Gentofte Hospital

Do you thrive in a professional environment where quality and collaboration are at the center? Do you have a flair for finance and structure – and are you motivated by a varied workday? Then maybe it’s you we are looking for.

About us

Clinical Research Unit (CRU) is part of the Department of Cancer Treatment at Herlev-Gentofte Hospital. We work with clinical drug trials for cancer patients and participate in Phase I, II and III trials.

We are a growing unit and currently consist of 30 dedicated employees, including project nurses, bioanalysts, secretaries and data managers.

We collaborate broadly – internally at the hospital and externally with the pharmaceutical industry, research institutions and other hospitals – with the common goal of developing future treatments.

With us, professionalism, quality and good collaboration are the foundation for both our results and our working environment.

Your tasks

You will play a central role in the unit’s administrative and financial tasks, including

  • Billing for clinical trials based on trial-specific contracts
  • Rebilling to internal partners
  • Billing to patients
  • Administrative tasks in connection with the start-up of new trials
  • Ongoing communication with internal and external partners

We offer

  • An exciting and meaningful job in a professionally strong department in development
  • A varied workday with a high degree of independence
  • Dedicated, competent and helpful colleagues
  • An individually tailored onboarding programme
  • A close interdisciplinary collaborative environment
  • A full-time position of 37 hours per week

We are looking for someone who

  • Has experience with finance and accounting
  • Works in a structured and independent manner
  • Is positive, flexible and contributes to good collaboration
  • Maintains overview – even in a busy day with tight deadlines
  • Thrives with many varied tasks
  • Has good English skills (written and spoken)
  • Has solid IT skills, including Excel, Word and Outlook

It is an advantage – but not a requirement – if you have knowledge of administrative workflows in the healthcare sector and/or SAP.

If you have relevant competencies not mentioned above that can contribute to our work, we would very much like to hear from you.
