The flexi-job area is seeking an Employment Counselor

Would you like to use your employment expertise in JOBVejle / the flexi-job area and help retain and create progression for citizens in flexi-job employment?

This is a temporary position. The position is 37 hours per week – to be filled as soon as possible and until the end of 2027.

The vacant position is in the department’s follow-up team.

With us you will have the opportunity to use your employment and social work professional skills in an effort where relationship, trust and sustainability are central elements in task solving. The department consists of 3 teams, which solve tasks related to flexi-jobs and early retirement pensions. In the department there are besides employment advisors, a business consultant and a professional specialist who, among other things, supports us in solving tasks, as well as a department head.

Your main tasks

• Conduct follow-up conversations where retention in employment and progression are the central driving points
• Engage in dialogue with companies regarding work retention, compliance with the citizen’s shielding considerations and possibilities for progression
• Prepare case handling for the preparatory part
• Tasks related to citizens’ application for senior pension
• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration and actively contribute to the development of measures, workflows and professional solutions in complex citizen pathways, e.g. with colleagues in the sickness benefit department
• Close collaboration with colleagues who work with the unemployed flexi-job registered citizens
• Work with digital solutions

We expect that you

• are educated as social worker or social mediator and have experience from the employment field, very preferably from the flexi-job area and also preferably with experience from the sickness benefit area
• can see yourself in a cross-field between employment and social professional effort
• know the legislation and can professionally translate it into practice
• are strong in relationship building and a good communicator, both with citizens and companies
• can navigate professionally in the authority role and thrive in a goal-oriented organization
• can work independently, structured and systematic
• focus on a good working environment and actively contribute to a good collegial community
• manage to keep calm in a busy everyday life
• are curious about your own practice and learning – and eager to be an active sparring partner for your colleagues

Flexi-jobs and early retirement is a department where we are professionally ambitious, we focus on high professionalism, and a strong will to help each other. We are about 22 employees organized in 3 teams, where sparring and professional reflection and joint development are a natural part of everyday life. Terms of employment

This is a temporary position until the end of 2027. The position is 37 hours per week.

The expected salary range for the full-time position, excluding pension, is in the interval DKK 33,491.50 (salary step 32 + base pay) – DKK 37,505.26 (salary step 38 + base pay) according to the agreement for municipal employed social workers and social mediators §§ 3-6 on wage determination.

It should be noted that the final salary placement, including collective agreement basis and salary level, is determined based on your education and qualifications and the specific offered position.
