You will…

• lead our planning work to ensure that we, together with our stakeholders, succeed in realising our strategic direction
• maintain our plans as the various production technologies develop technically and economically. We look at technologies such as heat pumps, electric boilers and heat storages as well as new opportunities, e.g. industrial surplus heat
• participate in solving the department’s other tasks within data-driven optimization, negotiation of heat contracts, dimensioning of central components such as pumps, valves and heat exchangers, etc.

Your profile and background The ideal candidate has qualifications and experience within energy planning. It is important that you can and enjoy driving the process of creating and maintaining our planning basis. In this way we ensure that our plans are in line with the strategic direction.

The job can be tailored to your experience, so we would like to hear from both the experienced and the less experienced. You have a relevant education, e.g. engineer.

One of your strengths is that you thrive on handling different stakeholders, ensuring that everyone - internal and external - contributes to the planning and is on board with the concrete details.

You are skilled at delivering the underlying calculations and analyses together with internal colleagues and external consultants, so we quickly and efficiently reach the results that form the basis for the action plan. This means you are good at collaboration, and at the same time you are well-versed both in writing and speaking, and good at communicating complex topics and issues to partners who do not necessarily have the same deep insight as you.

Why choose TVIS? We are an organization with currently about 30 employees, all operating from Fredericia. In the coming years we expect to recruit several new colleagues who among other things will help build, operate and maintain our new district heating production.

You will become the fourth employee in our planning department, which is almost a year old, and you will report to our Planning Manager, Søren Berg Lorenzen.

The practicalities … This is a permanent position with a weekly working time of 37 hours, and it is ideal if you can start the position in early January 2027, but we are happy to wait for the right candidate. At TVIS there is the possibility to work flexibly depending on task solutions and in agreement with your manager.

About TVIS TVIS is a joint ownership of Fredericia, Kolding, Middelfart and Vejle municipalities. TVIS supplies district heating from several larger independent heat producers to a number of district heating distribution companies in the municipalities of Fredericia, Kolding, Middelfart and Vejle.

Year-round we ensure that about 115,000 households have heating in the living rooms and hot water at the taps. Right now we are in the initial phase of a development that over the next 10-15 years will transform the company from being a pure transmission company into, in the future, producing a large part of the approximately 2 million MWh we deliver annually.
