Dedicated colleague sought for Job Team Bilka

We are seeking an engaged and responsible colleague for our employment offering, Jobteam Bilka.

The position is 37 hours per week with start on January 1, 2027 or as soon as possible thereafter.

Your daily workplace will be Bilka Esbjerg, where you will be part of a small team consisting of two employees. Together you will carry out the daily tasks for 13 citizens.

Jobteam Bilka is a municipal offering where we employ people with special needs who want an employment offer pursuant to the Social Services Act § 103.

Jobteam Bilka offers, in collaboration with Bilka Esbjerg, a broad range of ordinary tasks for the citizens within retail, warehouse, bottle sorting and outdoor areas.

Our task is to support adults with special needs in well-being, development and community through meaningful employment.

The work tasks always start from the citizens' competences and development possibilities. We work to create a safe and shared learning environment, where citizens have the opportunity to develop their skills, master new tasks and experience ownership and motivation in the workday.

As an employee you should create space for the citizens to perform the tasks themselves, while you are present and available to support, guide and motivate them. You must be able to step in as a role model and demonstrate work processes when needed, just as you must be able to handle situations where there are not enough citizens to complete a task.

We share a responsibility to ensure the tasks are completed and that we at all times can comply with our collaboration agreement with Bilka.

Therefore it is important that you can balance the citizens' independence and development with the responsibility for daily operations. Everything we do must make sense for the citizens and support our core mission. „We create value together with the citizen and society“

We are seeking a colleague who has an educational background in pedagogy and preferably with experience within our target group. The most important for us is that you are passionate about working with our citizen group.

You must take responsibility for your workday, for the citizens and for the work environment in Jobteam Bilka, and in our organization in general.

You must be able to manage the freedom and the responsibility that come with the position.

In the job you will need to be able to operate a forklift, so it would be an advantage if you have a forklift certificate or are willing to obtain one.

Daily life at Bilka involves many steps, so you need to be in good physical condition.

We also provide support to citizens in their own homes. We are about 650 engaged workers, and in our residential and daytime services we support a total of about 730 citizens.

Salary and employment terms are set in accordance with applicable collective agreements, including the current provisions on local pay formation.
