Who are we?

We are a dedicated and multidisciplinary team working with patients over 65 who have various psychiatric disorders, including affective disorders and psychoses. Our ward houses 17 patients, and we base our approach on a holistic view, focusing on both the psychiatric diagnosis and the patient's social and physical needs and resources.

With us, coherent and individual pathways are in the center, and we work closely with outpatient clinics and external partners to ensure the best possible course for each patient. Our care and treatment pathways combine cognitive behavioral therapy, physical activity, psychoeducation, milieu therapy and medical treatment – all with a personal starting point, where the patient's resources, expectations and goals are in focus.

What do we offer?

We welcome you to an informal and collaborative workplace where humor and collegial support are part of everyday life. You will become an important part of an experienced team consisting of doctors, nurses, social and health care assistants, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, social workers and secretaries. We work closely together, spar, and support each other in creating the best possible patient pathways.

As the contact person for 2-4 patients you will be responsible for their individual care and treatment pathways – always in close collaboration with the patient, relatives and your colleagues. You will become a central figure who coordinates pathways and builds relationships that make a difference for both patient and relatives.

Who are you?

We are looking for a nurse who

• has authorization
• is curious about working with older patients with mental illnesses

• is flexible and adaptable when the situation requires it
• thrives in close multidisciplinary collaboration and sees the value in working together to achieve the best outcomes for our patients

Experience is not a requirement – we are seeking drive, passion and the desire to make a difference.

Salary and employment terms

Start date by agreement.

You will be employed under the agreement for non-management staff in the Sundhedskartellet area. During employment you are covered by the current working hours agreement entered into between the Regions’ Pay and Rates Board and the Danish Nurses Organization.

The 24-hour ward is staffed around the clock, and you will therefore be scheduled with mixed shifts in accordance with the rules of the applicable working hours agreement.
