EXPERIENCED DISABILITY CAREGIVER who can administer injections, sought for a lively blind woman

I am a 61-year-old blind woman who is seeking a flexible and experienced helper, with a good mood😊

You would also very much like to be able to knit, as knitting is my great interest. You must also be able to read patterns, knitting diagrams and help "translate" what I, as a blind person, cannot understand. You must be able to assemble and help me pick up stitches or correct mistakes.

In addition, you should help me with daily tasks such as cleaning, cooking, shopping and walks, reading emails, writing letters, accompanying me to training and to medical appointments. It is important that you are proficient with a computer and can help me with e-Boks, etc.

I, in addition to being blind, have a very poor balance, so you must ensure that I get out safely and back home.

You may also have worked as a disability helper before, and therefore have experience in helping others.

You may also be a woman, as I will need a guide in the changing room when I swim and I also need you down in the water, so it is an advantage that you are not afraid of water, but you do not need to be able to swim.

I live in Odense NV

I am looking for a helper for the following shifts

Working hours will be as follows

Tuesday morning from 8.00 – 13.00

Thursday morning from 8.00 – 12.00

Friday morning from 8.00 – 13.00

And every other weekend

Saturday 8.00 – 12.00

Sunday 8.00 – 12.00

As I am a very active woman, there will continuously be events such as concerts, lectures, knitting cafes and similar, which you will need to attend as my companion.

I often go on day trips and trips with overnight stays, which you must also be able to participate in. The hours can be on both weekdays and weekends.

It is a prerequisite that you have your own car to be considered for the position :-)

You will be paid travel allowance according to state rates.

Unfortunately, in addition to my visual impairment, I also suffer from severe asthma and bronchitis, and therefore do not tolerate smoking. In addition, I also have the disease Bardet-Biedl syndrome.

You will be employed through LOBPA, and thus you will be covered by the collective agreement for disability helpers, entered into between DE and FOA.
