Experienced lawyer for the Danish Utilities Regulation Authority

We offer you a position as a lawyer in the Center for Transmission, Wholesale Market, REMIT and International Affairs (TERI), where you will become part of a center consisting of professionally skilled and engaged specialists who work purposefully to ensure well-functioning energy markets in collaboration with both Danish and European actors. You will thus be on the front line as new EU legislation is created.

About the position As an experienced lawyer with us you will become part of a cross-disciplinary legal team, where you together with four capable colleagues will be a key player in the work to:

• Set the framework for wholesale energy markets in Denmark, including contributing to new regulation
• Make a decision on Energinet's terms and conditions to grant market participants access to the transmission networks
• Supervise the energy and transmission companies in Denmark
• Enforce rules on market manipulation
• Participate in international collaborations with the EU and other regulatory authorities.

You will have a high degree of independent responsibility, engage in professional discussions at a high level and set the direction for the work together with talented colleagues. You will have the opportunity to influence your own tasks and deepen yourself in specialist areas.

We imagine that you

• Have completed a cand.jur. degree and have a minimum of 3 years' experience as a lawyer or from a similar position in the state or the energy sector
• Are analytically strong and can translate complex rules into practice
• Thrive with both independent responsibility and cross-disciplinary collaboration
• Have an interest in energy law, criminal law and administrative law

You are a capable and experienced lawyer and can cut through a complex problem. You are curious and have the willingness to solve different types of tasks. You are collaborative and contribute positively to the good collegial atmosphere.
