About the job

Nat-Tech Building Service, Aarhus University, Operations Department South

About the job

Due to increased activity and more tasks, we are looking for a versatile and structured FM employee, preferably with a craftsmanship background, to become part of our operations team. You will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, from practical maintenance to administrative work and user support.

You will be part of a local operations team at Navitas consisting of three colleagues and an operations manager. At the same time you will be part of Nat-Tech Building Service, which includes about 180 employees spread across several locations.

We ensure stable and safe operation of our facilities and building stock, which comprises 73,000 m2. We play an important role in creating the best conditions for activities and users at Navitas. Here we daily support both Aarhus University, the Marine Engineering College and the companies housed in the building. Under the same roof there are approximately 2,700 students, teachers, researchers, entrepreneurs and company representatives.

Dene primary tasks will be

  • Daily communication with users, external craftsmen and project coordination.
  • Handling and follow-up on error reports, service requests and other inquiries from users.
  • Carrying out practical craft tasks in the building
  • Documentation in Dalux and other administrative tasks

Your workday will be varied, as you work with practical tasks in the building, which can be physically demanding, and administrative tasks. In addition, ad hoc tasks arise continuously. About half of your time will be related to administrative and coordinating tasks, while the other half consists of practical operations and maintenance tasks in the building. The distribution can vary over time depending on both the team’s tasks, your competencies and the organization’s needs.

We imagine that you have

  • A craft background, preferably with knowledge of HVAC and/or refrigeration
  • Experience with reading technical drawings
  • Basic IT understanding (CTS and BMS e.g. Dalux or similar systems)
  • Experience with building maintenance

But we place the greatest emphasis on your willingness to learn new things and to thrive with new challenges. Just as you approach tasks and people with calmness, patience and a positive attitude. In this way you contribute to stable and safe operation of the technical systems in the building and a positive and efficient work environment where tasks are solved collaboratively.

We offer

  • A good working environment in a motivated team where collaboration and a positive attitude are highly valued.
  • We prioritize your professional and personal development through ongoing sparring with experienced colleagues and regular development conversations with your operations manager.
  • You will have flexible working hours, a state pension scheme and accompanying health scheme.
  • You will play an important role in an organization that is undergoing change and development and where your work makes a difference for all users in a dynamic and exciting building.
  • You have the opportunity to work independently and at the same time be part of a team that supports each other and works well together.

Additional information

  • The position is 37 hours with a daily start time from 07:30.
  • Primary place of service is Navitas, Inge Lehmanns Gade 10, 8000 Aarhus C, Aarhus University Nat-Tech Building Service, Aarhus.

As an FM employee you will initially be attached to Navitas. In the longer term, changes in the university’s premises may mean that your primary place of work is moved to another location of Aarhus University in Aarhus. You will remain part of Nat-Tech Building Service and contribute to the operation of the university’s buildings.

Want to join the team?

  • Send your application and CV no later than 11 November
  • If you have questions about the position, you are welcome to contact the operations manager Johannes Nipper at telephone 92433855 .
