About the job

Are you a medical secretary or health administrative coordinator who is passionate about combining strong professional expertise with sharp data and registration? Do you thrive in a central role where you can elevate others, support operations and create an overview across sites? Then you may be our new professional coordinator.

We are looking for an engaged colleague for a 37-hour position with the place of work at both Blegdamsvej and Valdemar Hansens Vej (Glostrup) with commencement 1 December 2026 or by agreement.

About the role and the task

You will become part of the department management’s staff and a very central professional resource for our skilled secretaries. You will have a key function in ensuring professional sparring and development based on your own secretarial background. The position has no management responsibility, as the secretaries report administratively to chief nurses/ambulatory leads in the individual units

You will have your daily touchpoints distributed across our subspecialized clinics and wards: At Blegdamsvej we have epilepsy, neuromuscular diseases, memory, as well as a bed ward and a specialty outpatient clinic at Blegdamsvej – at Valdemar Hansens Vej we have headaches and multiple sclerosis.

A key role in operations, development and change

You will become an important professional sparring partner, where you have ample opportunity to both use and expand your competencies in the Health Platform. You will navigate a broad palette of tasks, spanning from daily operations to development and change processes.

As our "registration expert" your primary focus is to ensure a consistent, correct and sufficient registration practice across the department – including especially:

Compliance with diagnostic rights and treatment guarantee: Monitoring and quality assurance of the registrations.

Data handling and analysis: Carry out extracts, process and present data so they become easy to understand and form a solid basis for management decisions and optimization of operations.

Competence development and dissemination: Have an active role at secretary meetings, and teach in current registration practice.

A broad collaboration across

You will have an outward-facing and proactive role, where you work closely with many different professional groups.

Your main collaborators are

  • Department management
  • Secretary group
  • Clinic leadership teams
  • Department staff
  • Key persons from the department’s other professional groups

We emphasize that you

  • Are trained medical secretary or health administrative coordinator – preferably with several years of relevant experience in the bag.
  • Have a strong knowledge of the clinical systems, especially the Health Platform and its reporting capabilities.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Power BI and ideally Region Hovedstaden’s Shared Management Information System (FLIS).
  • Work purposefully, independently and proactively to ensure high quality in the registrations
  • Have good communication skills, articulate yourself clearly and respectfully at all levels and manage to connect registration with practical operations.

What can you expect from us?

You will become part of an inspiring environment where quality, learning and a good working environment are top priorities. We value good collegiality with room for a good laugh in a busy daily life, and we share a mutual respect for the important task we solve for the patients.
