About Agerbo

Agerbo is part of Døgn og Familiestøtte Herning. Here we offer 24-hour care and support stays for children and young people with significant and lasting functional impairments as well as complex support needs.

You will become part of a team where the target group is children and young people who need extensive support in daily life. Several of the children and young people we support have diagnoses within the autism spectrum, development disorders or other complex functional impairments.

At Agerbo we work to ensure that every child and young person experiences safety, development, care and the greatest possible quality of life. We do this through strong relationships, high professional standards and close collaboration with families.

Your role

As an employee at Agerbo you will among other things

• Create structure, safety and development opportunities in everyday life.
• Support the social, personal and communicative development of children and young people.
• Contribute to strengthening the children’s and young people's independence and participation in everyday life.
• Work targeted with individual development goals and interventions.
• Participate in care and nursing tasks based on the needs of the child or young person.
• Observe, document and contribute to professional reflections.
• Collaborate closely with colleagues, families and external partners.
• Help create a safe and developmental environment for children and young people.

We are looking for someone who

• Is educated as a pedagogue, pedagogical assistant, occupational therapist or social and healthcare assistant.
• Has an interest in or experience with children and young people with autism and complex support needs.
• Is passionate about relational work and an appreciative approach.
• Can work in a structured way and create an overview.
• Values interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Can document and follow up on interventions.
• Is curious about their own and others' professional skills.
• Takes responsibility and contributes positively to the community.

Working hours

• Shifting daytime hours on weekdays between 6:00 and 22:15
• Work every 2nd or 3rd weekend
• Possibility to enter into local agreements for 13 and 15 hours of work
• Work on all days of the year
• Employment of up to 37 hours
