Pharmaconomist for the Department of Brain and Nerve Surgery, Rigshospitalet

Our well-regarded and skilled pharmaconomist is seeking a new daytime partner from January 1, 2027.

We are the Region of Eastern Denmark's only brain and nerve surgery department. We consist of a clinic, ward and semi-intensive unit, all of which manage care and treatment of patients with surgical diseases of the brain and nerves. This can include, for example, brain hemorrhages, tumors, hydrocephalus, etc. We have a high patient flow.

We have a medication service from the hospital's pharmacy. They come daily to the department and take care of medication ordering and inventory management, but as a pharmaconomist in our department you can look forward to :

• Dispensing and administering medicines on time as well as reviewing medications for the admitted patients
• Information, guidance and advice to patients and relatives about medication through close dialogue. Among other things about the effects and side effects of the prescribed medication – both during hospitalization and at discharge
• Strong collaboration with nurses and sparring with doctors about the correct dosing and treatment
• Participation in patient conferences
• Preparation of intravenous antibiotics
• An workplace with social events such as summer party, DHL, Friday bar, New Year's reception, etc.
• Guidance and teaching of relevant partners and possibly students
• A position with managerial backing to be innovative

We would like you to be

• Happy to have contact and communication with patients
• Trained pharmaconomist – you may have experience from similar jobs, but not required
• Responsible
• Good at collaborating across professional groups
• Independent, service-minded and able to take initiative

The position is 37 hours per week or by agreement.
