Finance Bookkeeper for Scanvaegt Systems

Would you like a versatile daily routine in a smaller finance department where professionalism, flexibility and an informal tone go hand in hand? And are you motivated by getting new digital workflows well embedded in daily operations?

We are looking for an experienced finance bookkeeper for Scanvaegt. You will become part of a finance department with short decision paths and great freedom to plan the tasks. Here there is room for different personalities, but it is important that you actively contribute to the collaboration and communicate openly and constructively.

A broad role with a main emphasis on accounts payable

Your primary task will be accounts payable, but you should also be able to handle accounts receivable tasks and other central bookkeeping tasks. In the department, everyone has their own areas of responsibility, while you can step in crosswise during busy periods, vacations and absences. Scanvaegt has subsidiaries in Norway and Germany, for which the finance department in Denmark handles the administration. You will therefore also take on responsibility for the accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks for the two subsidiaries.

Your tasks will include

• Accounts payable, including registration, posting and payment of invoices
• Accounts receivable and follow-up
• Reconciliations and ongoing quality assurance
• Handling of invoices in relevant systems
• Contributing to month-end close and other finance tasks
• Sparring and coordination with colleagues and internal partners
• Participation in development and optimization of workflows

You report to the company's Chief Accountant, who has the overall responsibility for the daily operation in the finance department.

New systems and digital possibilities

Scanvaegt is in the process of implementing Business Central 365 after previously working in Navision. When you start, the system will therefore be in the first operation phase, and you will have the opportunity to contribute to ensuring that new workflows are well anchored in daily practice.

Experience with Business Central is an advantage, but not a requirement. The most important is that you have a good system understanding, work in a structured way and are curious about how technology can support an efficient finance function.

AI is expected to play a larger role in tasks and processes in the finance department in the future. You do not need to be an expert, but you should be keen to learn and open to new digital solutions.

Who are you?

We foresee that you have experience as a finance bookkeeper or from a similar position. You have solid knowledge of accounts payable and preferably experience with accounts receivable.

You thrive in a smaller department where you need to keep an overview, take responsibility and solve different types of tasks. As a person you are confident, can navigate in an environment with direct communication and different personalities. You are approachable and constructive, but also dare to ask questions and point out issues that should be handled differently.

Scanvaegt offers

You get a versatile position in a well-established company with an annual turnover of around DKK 500 million. The position is 37 hours a week, initially within the hours 8:00–16:00, with the possibility of flexibility. There is also the option to work from home up to two days a week. The company plans to renovate the office facilities.

Salary is determined according to qualifications.
