About the job

We are seeking an economic consultant for an exciting and diverse role in the Secretariat of Jammerbugt Municipality's Growth and Development Administration.

The administration's areas of work span broadly and include the overall technical area, Planning and Environment, Business and Tourism, as well as Culture, Leisure and Rural Areas. This means that the tasks are many and varied – but with a common focus on creating good physical environments and positive experiences for residents, businesses, local communities and visitors in the municipality.

We are looking for a skilled and curious economic consultant who thrives with various economic tasks in an exciting and dynamic everyday life.

As our new colleague, you will be a key person in the work on payroll management in the administrative area and general financial follow-up as well as management information in the same area.

In addition, your tasks will primarily lie within the areas of Business and Tourism as well as Culture, Leisure and Rural Areas. You will become a sparring partner for the administration's management and staff within the area.

You will thus have a number of exciting tasks, including

  • Payroll management and payroll follow-up
  • Budget follow-up, accounting and financial management
  • Preparation of budgets at an overarching level
  • Bookkeeping and invoicing
  • Sparring and advice to the administration's management
  • Ongoing development of analyses and management information that supports strategic decisions
  • Various calculations and other ad hoc tasks in the financial area

Who are you?

You thrive in a role where you work both independently and closely with colleagues and management. You are good at asking questions, you are structured and good at turning numbers into usable knowledge. You follow tasks through to completion and take responsibility for the quality of your work.

You are good at planning your work so you meet fixed deadlines. You have an interest in working with good workflows and processes using technology and digital solutions.

You have an educational background in economics, but we have not specified which. You probably have at least a few years of experience working with municipal finance, but most importantly you are motivated to work with us.

We work daily in ØS-Indsigt and in the management information system Targit, which we are currently in the process of optimizing usage of – both for ourselves and in support of managers and leaders. Knowledge of the systems is a plus, but not a requirement.

As our new colleague you will get

  • an exciting and varied job, where you help shape the workday yourself
  • a job with your own areas of responsibility and a strong influence on how tasks are solved
  • good opportunities for professional and personal development
  • a broad network of contacts and an informal working environment among good colleagues
  • flexibility – for us it is important that there is a balance between work and leisure

About us

In the Secretariat we are 9 people with different tasks and backgrounds. We support the administration in areas such as financial management, committee support, data and digitalization, law and contracts, MED support, project management and facilitation – and much more.

In the department there is one additional economic consultant, just as we have colleagues in the department and in the building who work with finance among other tasks. We engage in close collaboration with the municipality's central finance function in Aabybro both in daily operations, in cross-cutting development tasks and under the umbrella of the municipality's cross-cutting Chief Financial Officer group, which the secretariat chief participates in. There is therefore ample opportunity for sparring both in and outside the building.

More about the position and us

The vacant position is a permanent 37-hour position based at the former town hall in Pandrup, Lundbakvej 5, 9490 Pandrup. The position is to be filled on 1 January or 15 January 2026, following further agreement.

If you would like to know more about the position, you are welcome to contact Secretariat Chief Mie Klæstrup at telephone 41 91 19 30.

Employment will be in accordance with the applicable collective agreement.
