Floor Manager for Café Mocca, Præstø Harbor

Are you our new Floor Manager with a passion for the floor, events and the good working environment?

At Café Mocca we are looking for a sharp and present Floor Manager who can take full ownership of our cafe floor and event activities – and who at the same time is passionate about leading, developing and retaining our fantastic team of mainly young waiters.

You will be the absolute focal point for the guest experience at Havnepladsen in Præstø, where you ensure that both the daily flow of cafe guests and our many events are carried out flawlessly.

Your primary areas of responsibility

• The lively cafe floor and events

You have full overview of the cafe's flow, table management and serving pace. At the same time you are the reassuring hand that coordinates and executes our events (from birthdays to receptions), so everything runs perfectly with the kitchen, and timelines are kept.

• Mentor and leader for our young waiter team

Our young workers and young waiters are the face of the cafe outward. Much of your success in the job depends on your ability to meet the young at eye level. You must be able to relate to their mindset, understand their way of being and create a safe, fun and educational working environment. You manage to balance the role as the clear and professional leader with being a motivating mentor, ensuring our staff love going to work and want to stay with us for a long time.

• Cleaning, hygiene and order with full speed ahead

For you, cleaning, self-check and razor-sharp order are a completely natural part of everyday life, which you value incredibly highly. You immediately spot if a detail is missing, and you lead by example to get things across the line. You manage to infect the team with your sense of order, so the cafe always appears sparkling clean, inviting and in absolutely top form from opening to closing.
