Freelance DevOps Engineer, Aarhus/Silkeborg
SCR is seeking on behalf of our client a Freelance DevOps Engineer for a longer-term assignment with a larger Danish financial company.
As a Freelance DevOps Engineer you will be responsible for the operations, support and maintenance of existing DevOps tools, processes and CI/CD platforms. The focus is on ensuring stable build- and deployment processes as well as supporting the development organization with technical clarifications, troubleshooting and ongoing improvements.
You will be part of an established environment where continuity, stability and quality are essential, and where work is done with GitHub, Azure DevOps, Octopus Deploy, IIS and Azure.
Professional competencies
- Proven experience with Git, GitHub and Azure DevOps
- Experience with repositories, branching strategies and pull requests
- Solid experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments
- Experience with troubleshooting and maintenance of build- and release processes
- Experience with GitHub Actions and Azure-based deployments
- Familiarity with or experience with Octopus Deploy
- Experience with deployments to IIS environments
- Practical experience with Microsoft Azure and related services
- Experience with PowerShell or equivalent scripting
- Experience with handling service connections, credentials and secrets
- Experience with documentation and knowledge sharing
Personal competencies

Project information
Project start: As soon as possible
Duration: 6 months with possibility of extension
Scope: Full-time
Location: Primarily onsite in Silkeborg, but also with days at the office in Aarhus. Possibility for 1-2 days per week of remote work.
