FULL-TIME BPA HELPER WANTED – HVIDOVRE

I am seeking a full-time helper for my BPA team as of December 1.

There will be training as soon as possible, so you are ready to take full shifts by December.

The position consists of 6 24-hour shifts, arranged in a fixed monthly rotation over 4 weeks. Working hours are from 20:30 to 20:45 the following evening:

Week 1 : Wednesday-Thursday and Saturday-Sunday

Week 2 : Wednesday-Thursday

Week 3 : Wednesday-Thursday and Friday-Saturday

Week 4: Thursday-Friday

There is a 15-minute overlap at the end of a 24-hour shift, so there is an opportunity for handover between the helpers.

ABOUT ME

My name is Karin, I am 76 years old and have been a tetraplegic for many years.

I use an electric wheelchair, communicate mainly via an eye-controlled computer and need help with all daily tasks, including personal care.

I live in Hvidovre.

The home is equipped with the necessary aids, and there is a separate helper room available during shifts.

I am looking for you who

• is at least 25 years old
• speaks and understands Danish
• is stable and responsible
• is calm, patient and empathetic

COMMUNICATION

I communicate via an eye-controlled computer. If it is not available, we use a spelling board. Therefore it is important that you master Danish confidently both spoken and written.
