Expected start 1 Feb.

  • DPU - Danish Institute for Pedagogy and Education - Educational Science, Aarhus Jens Chr. Skous Vej 4 8000 Aarhus C
  • Fixed-term full-time position 1 Feb 2027 - 31 Jul 2029 ID: 170875

Apply for the position

The Department of Educational Science at the Danish Institute for Pedagogy and Education is seeking a professionally and analytically strong scientific assistant for teaching, supervision and with the possibility of research, with appointment on 1 February 2027 or as soon as possible thereafter.

Teaching will be at the Bachelor’s degree in Educational Science. The assistant is expected to handle teaching coordination and group teaching in collaboration with the other scientific assistants and in dialogue with module coordinators and instructors. In addition, supervision, assessment and examinations.

It is advantageous if you have

  • General teaching experience
  • Experience with qualitative and/or quantitative methods
  • Academic interest in several modules in the programme's study regulations from 2024.

You will join a team of scientific assistants responsible for group teaching in the programme in collaboration with module coordinators and instructors. The modules are distributed semester-by-semester within the team of scientific assistants, so it is an advantage if you can cover the bachelor’s degree subjects broadly.

You must, as a person, be able to work very independently and also join constructively in the team of group teachers; you must be enthusiastic for your own, the team’s, the programme’s and the students’ sake. You should have a relevant academic master's degree, preferably experience with teaching coordination and delivery of teaching as well as experience with supervision and examination – preferably at university level. And you must be passionate about delivering good and engaging teaching.
