Do you want to make a difference for senior citizens in Holbæk Municipality who, after a significant loss of function or surgery, need to return to everyday life? We need your skills and your drive.

We are looking for a physiotherapist who is passionate about rehabilitation of senior citizens and residents who, after a hospital admission, need training to manage an independent life again. You plan the training yourself based on the citizen's goals. The training takes place primarily at the Health Center, individually and/or in groups. But it can also take place in the citizens' own homes.

Your team You will become part of our Senior, Outreach and Cancer Team with 11 physiotherapists and occupational therapists. Your primary tasks are in the Senior Team.

We are curious and eager to try new solutions and ideas that can make a difference for the citizens. We work with digital solutions to supplement the citizens’ training.

We collaborate closely with other professional groups, e.g. dietitians, training assistants, and occupational therapists.

We share knowledge and competencies through team meetings, professional meetings, and regular workshops.

Your work week

• Individually training 20-25 citizens spread over the week. Some train several times a week.
• Documentation of interventions, contact with partners, and coordination of coherent pathways with home care and rehabilitation therapists.
• Close collaboration with other professionals in the field.
• Consultation with colleagues in everyday work.

Working hours: You plan your own schedule on weekdays between 7 AM and 5 PM.

With the expectation that the working hours are where the citizens need training.

It is expected that you have either an early or late day at least every 14 days.

Your new workplace The Health Center is connected to Holbæk Sports City. We are 81 employees, mainly occupational and physiotherapists, both newly graduated and colleagues with many years of experience.

We emphasize

• You are passionate about rehabilitation in the senior field and preferably have experience with municipal rehabilitation.
• You can plan active training programs based on the citizen's goals and focus on SMART goal setting and can create coherence between training and everyday life.
• You keep track of tasks and can professionally assess which order tasks should be performed.
• You have knowledge of and experience with multidisciplinary collaboration and you are good at building contact with citizens, relatives and colleagues – internal as well as external
• You function and contribute in an environment with development and change and lend a hand when there is a busy operation.
• You have a driver's license.
