Physiotherapist for Neurorehabilitation at Toftegården

Would you like to use your physiotherapist professional expertise close to citizens' everyday life and help create opportunities for people with acquired brain injury?

At Neurorehabilitation Toftegården we are looking for a physiotherapist for our fixed residential care places, which will be expanded from 8 to 13 places as of 01.01.27. At Neurorehabilitation Toftegården adults with various physical, cognitive, communicative and social consequences after an acquired brain injury live. In addition, Neurorehabilitation Toftegården consists of the Day Center Oasen with 30 places.

With us, physiotherapy does not take place only in the training room. Your professional knowledge will be part of the citizen's entire everyday life.

You will conduct physiotherapeutic assessments and interventions, advise colleagues and contribute to ensuring that movement, activity and participation are integrated into the citizen's daily life.

Your role

You will have your primary affiliation to the fixed residential care places. Here you will become part of an interdisciplinary team that works with the citizen toward common goals.

Your tasks will among others include

• examine and assess citizens' physical functional capacity
• plan rehabilitative, maintenance, preventive and compensatory interventions
• work with mobility, balance, strength, positioning and posture
• advise on transfers and aids
• support citizens' participation in daily activities
• translate physiotherapeutic assessments into concrete strategies in the citizen's daily life
• advise colleagues so that interventions can be continued throughout the citizen's 24-hour day
• document goals, interventions and professional assessments
• collaborate closely with citizens, relatives and other professional groups.

As part of the interdisciplinary team you also participate in the citizens' daily support and care, where your physiotherapeutic expertise is actively brought into play.
