Gåsetårnskolen, Iselinge is seeking a teacher for a special class

We are seeking a new colleague for our S-class in the middle years at afdeling Iselinge in Vordingborg. You will have the opportunity to become part of a strong and engaged staff group that supports each other. The S-class is primarily for pupils within the autism spectrum.

We are seeking as of 1 December 2026 or preferably earlier a trained teacher for our special class in the middle years with strong competencies in the autism field. Ideally with an academic profile covering the subjects Danish, Mathematics, English, History and Christian Studies .

The work involves, among other things, close and committed collaboration with colleagues, parents and management. It is therefore essential that you wish to contribute to a strong team collaboration, and that you are able to reflect on your own role in the community.

It is to be expected that there are also lessons in the general curriculum.

• Are a trained teacher with competencies in Danish, Mathematics, English, History and Christian Studies.
• Are academically well-founded and work purposefully with students' academic development.
• Are a clear and competent classroom leader with knowledge of special pedagogy.
• Can build strong relationships with both students and parents.
• Have an affirming approach and good relational skills, and you can see yourself in our view of children (see link at the end of the text).
• Contribute actively to the teamwork and thrive in a strong learning community.
• Have humor and thrive in a busy everyday life.
