Hop og Leg is a relatively new daycare with an engaged and harmonious staff group that works professionally ambitious with the core task and at the same time has fun together.

As head of the daycare you will have the opportunity to build on the good culture and at the same time set a direction for the continued professional and organizational development.

We are looking for a leader who dares to be involved in everyday life – close to children, staff and parents. A leader who leads from the front, creates clear frameworks and brings people with them. Movement and community

Hop og Leg is a movement institution, and it must continue to be a clear part of our pedagogical profile. We work with movement as a path to learning, well-being and development and with the children's self-regulation and low/high arousal.

At the same time, community is central in our learning view. We work for learning environments where all children experience themselves as a meaningful part of the community.

We would like you to have experience with day care leadership, development or startup of institutions, pedagogical movement focus and organizational development. Experience with supervision and management of team leaders is an advantage. A large development task awaits

In the summer of 2028 Hop og Leg moves to new premises and becomes significantly larger with a new nursery department normed for 32 nursery children and another 25 preschool children.

Therefore you will play a central role in a substantial change process, where you will help develop the organization, integrate new employees and children groups and at the same time maintain the culture and professionalism that has already been created.

It requires an overview, clear communication and courage for change. You must be able to create security while driving development forward.

You will be part of a strong management community and have a close collaboration with the area manager. Together you shall create direction and ensure a daycare where all children have the opportunity to thrive, develop and be part of the community. A leader who stands strong – and does not stand alone

You will be met by an engaged and resourceful parent group and staff who want to collaborate across with a shared responsibility for all children.

For the first interview the hiring committee will consist of two employees from the institution, a parent representative, a representative from the management team, TR, and area manager Vibeke Horup

For the second interview, recruitment consultant Rebecca Abl Jørgensen and daycare chief Charlotte Ørbæk Langballe will also participate.

Monday 19 October we will select the candidates we want to see for the first interview on Thursday 22 October, and the second interview takes place on Thursday 29 October.

The candidates moving to the second interview will have to complete a personality test. The test feedback, carried out by the leadership development consultant Rebecca Abl Jørgensen, takes place on Monday 27 October. Area manager Vibeke Horup will also be present at the test feedback.

References will be obtained by agreement with the candidates.

Start date is expected 1 December 2026.
